This isn’t your average cast control. The E.D.C. uses a built-in digital chip and electromagnetic braking to automatically adjust the brake in real-time as you cast. It senses spool speed thousands of times per second and applies just the right amount of resistance at every stage — harder at high speeds to stop backlash, lighter at low speeds to give you extra distance. And it’s completely self-powered — no batteries, no charging, just smart braking when you need it.
