If only there was a bit more orange on it, ive found that sandflea imitations work best when they are set up like a coin. With the heads side being tan/beige/white, and the tails side being orange with tan striping. The flash from orange to tan is what makes a fish think its a sand flea.

ABOUT THE
PRODUCT
Nick Vlahos submitted this fly into our 2015 fly-tying contest. We loved it so much we had to make sure everyone had a chance to use it. It's not often that one sees a sand flea imitation, but we know plenty of fish eat them: striper, bonefish, snook, and redfish being just a few. The long tails and spindly legs give it a lifelike motion in the water, certain to attract a fish or two.
