Very surprised this rod handled. Purchased for my wife to use for live bait / small anchovies. Received in mail ( carton crushed by UPS ) and put to use two days later. The rod does all the work in fighting small grade yellowfin. It handled 20# braid effortlessly. I was on the fence to get the XH model and took a chance on the 7'6" Heavy. Great choice. Paired with Shimano 4000D Baitrunner. It did the trick. My only small area of concern is that I needed to overt tighten the reel seat to be confident with fish were on. Would I buy again...100%. Good service...thanks!

DESCRIPTION

ABOUT THE
PRODUCT

The redesigned Talavera Inshore D series of spinning rods delivers reliable performance and well-rounded versatility for targeting a full range of inshore species with artificials or bait. With the addition of two new models, a 7'0" ML and a 7'6” H, the lineup expands to give anglers even more options to match their technique, target species, and fishing conditions. Built with proven Shimano rod technologies, the series features DIAFLASH carbon tape reinforcement wrapped in a cross pattern along the lower blank to increase strength and minimize twist under load, to deliver enhanced power transfer and improved control during the fight. Fuji O Guides ensure smooth, consistent line flow for long, accurate casts, while a lightweight Fuji Reel Seat provides a secure, durable connection that enhances overall balance. Premium cork grips complete the package, offering a classic look, a comfortable feel, and a confident grip. Combined, these enhancements deliver a refined inshore rod series built for precision, durability, and all-day fishability.
